Good Start to New Season with Novice Riders Taking Charge

Updated: Feb 8, 2018

On Sunday 19th November we headed to Bishops Court with 2 runners, one with our yard novice rider Sam Burton and the other with pupil owner rider Noah Brazg. According to Trev ran in the Conditions race with Sam aboard; he ran a respectable race which indicated a wind operation would be beneficial, and has since had a soft palate. He will be Sam's ride for the season and has grown in confidence after an autumn out hunting and team chasing. Noah then rode Brians Well in the Mens Open. This was Noah's first ride in a point to point following a successful couple of years pony racing, and the horse ran well before tiring. Overall it was a good day for the two young lads to start their season in which they both gained experience, rode well and gave their horses positive and confident rides. Although no prizes were won the team achieved what we set out to do.
