On Monday 26th March we took exciting gelding Clondaw Westie to Huntingdon, bidding to continue his winning streak. He ran in the Novice's Handicap Chase with Aidan Coleman aboard. The trainer was slightly worried he would be outpaced in the quicker ground, but the gelding showed to maintain a promising pace throughout. He jumped either brilliantly or badly(!) but kept up to his work and battled gamely to come upsides at the last and draw away up the run in. It was a classy performance, and the horse continues to please and impress his connections with each run. This victory made it 3 wins from 4 runs and unlike many other horses in the country, Westie shows to be enjoying the ground, so for him long may it continue!
