On Saturday 8th October we headed down to the Hatherley Manor Hotel in Gloucester for the National Point to Point Awards Dinner and Dance.

Lawney did a fantastic job at co-hosting the awards ceremony with Warwickshire-based trainer Charlie Poste.

Izzie received her award for being runner up in the National Ladies Championship, with a total of 24 Point to Point winners, 7 winners ahead of her closest rival. This is the fourth year she has finished second behind Gina which is a great achievement.

Alan finished second in the Foran Equine National Trainers Championship (8+ horses) on 37 Point to Point winners from 148 runners, scoring an impressive 25% strike rate.

It was brilliant to celebrate everyone’s success from last season and a massive congratulations to all the award winners. It was also great to see so many of the national sponsors on the evening who have really supported the sport, a big thank you goes to them too.
